Delivery Methods

All orders are shipped through Royal Mail and will be sent out within 2 – 3 days after order confirmation unless it’s a custom order. Depending on the nature of the custom order, it may take between 5 to 10 days after the order has been placed. This usually applies to custom dyed yarn as it takes a few days to dry completely before it can be packaged and posted.

Returns & exchanges

I gladly accept returns and cancellations

Contact me within: 7 days of delivery
Dispatch items back within: 14 days of delivery
Request a cancellation within: 24 hours of purchase

I don’t accept exchanges

But please contact Dyers Remorse if you have any problems with your order.

The following items can’t be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can’t accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalised orders
  • Digital downloads
  • Items on sale
  • Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

In the event that the item is returned to Dyers Remorse in a less than new condition, a refund will not be provided as the item can no longer be sold.

Refunds

Refunds will not be provided until the purchase has been returned to Dyers Remorse. In the event of lost parcels, a claim will need to be filed with Royal Mail before a refund can be provided. They are usually good with resolving these issues within 14 days after the complaint has been filed.

Lost Parcels

Should Royal Mail determine that your parcel is lost and can not be found, I will refund the entire cost of the transaction. However, this will not be done until 28 full business days have passed. This is because Royal Mail will only compensate for the whole sale cost of the item. It will not refund or compensate for the time, skill, and added value that went into the product.

Additionally, they will not compensate for Paypal/payment processer fees.
If in doubt, purchase insurance with tracking – send me a message to arrange this. Peace of mind is worth every penny. Some parcels/postage types will come with a standard insurance value. However, if the insurance value is lower than the parcel value, you will only receive the maximum amount of the insurance value. For example, if the parcel was worth 30GBP, but the insurance is only for 20GBP, Royal Mail will only compensate up to and including 20GBP.

If your parcel has not arrived, the best we can do in this situation is wait a little longer.
The parcel may not have arrived yet because:

1. Enough time hasn’t passed for the parcel to be delivered. Nothing is lost until 28 business days have past from the shipping date on the proof of posting.
2. Royal Mail/Mailing Companies within your country might be extremely slow. This can and does happen.
3. It may have been left at the sorting office because you weren’t home and they neglected to leave a card. Usually, the post office will mail you a card within 24 – 48 hours.
